Peso pesado da indústria musical, a Pioneer apostou suas fichas em mixers e CDJs nos últimos anos, “ignorando” o crescente mercado de controladoras midi de todos os tipos. Após algum tempo de rumores e indefinições, eis que a empresa lança duas controladoras ao mesmo tempo: DDJ-T1, desenvolvida para Traktor e DDJ-S1, configurada para o Serato ITCH.

A Pioneer é a marca mais popular no mercado da música eletrônica, criadora de tendências de performance e design e padrão na maioria dos clubs mundo afora. Devido à popularidade e credibilidade de seu modelo CDJ-200, ambos os lançamentos apresentam grande semelhança com o player de CDs.
